Why cannot show “prompt location in startup” option in the user perferences?

I don’t understand your question. Please be more specific. The option “Prompt for location at startup” is located under Additional Options.

I am looking for this option too, in old Lotus Notes (R5), under Preferences, you were able to have the program prompt for what user is logging onto the application for which location document to use. This used to be listed under Preferences | User Preferences. Now this has gone in Lotus Notes 6.5.4. Now it defaults to the last user that was on the machine, and the user has to cancel the login before they can select a second profile. Where is the “Additional Preferences” Option that you talk about located? Thanks for the help.
