I am looking for some programming help, since I don’t know much about it. We are working on our corporate directory for our website. Our CEO want the directory to have it so we have the alphabet laid out. If someone clicks on “A”, all users with the lastname starting with A would display.
I would imagine that this is a pretty simple task. Maybe I need to create a new view for each letter and then some code needs to be added.
If someone could guide me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

You could have the first column categorized by the first letter in the last name and use the view option to collapse when first opened. When the user clicks “A” the column would expand to show all names beginning with “A”
Col Formula
=========================
@Uppercase(@Left(LastName;“1”))

Or…
Create sub-views under the People view to sort like a contact list:
A-C
B-D
E-G
…
Copy the view from the People view but for the selection formula use for example for A-C:
@Select Form = “Person” & (@Left(@UpperCase(Lastname);1)=“A” | @Left(@UpperCase(Lastname);1)=“B” | @Left(@UpperCase(Lastname);1)=“C”)
