Problems when displaying images attached via an apple client

hi,

i have a problem when i want to displaying an images (JPG) that is attached in a document via an apple client.

it takes hours to display the image. If i use the stop button in my browser (ie 6.0) the images gets instantly displayed.

if i detach the image and attach it again via a windows client i first get the message if i want to extract the data fork only.

if i choose yes and attach the file again, the image is displayed immediately when using a html reference.

if i detach the image and extract the resource fork only the problems start…

the only solution is to let users create GIF files or what?

the problem lies that mac users store the datafork with the images.

if you do not seperate the data with image/resource domino has problems and tries to load everything

the problem is only with jpegs…
