Problems lining up text in a body of an email generated by formula languge in a field

Hello,

I have a field called Remarks which has the code listed below. In QuerySave an email gets sent out, and the remarks field is attached to the body of the email. I am wanting it to all line up. If I get it to look lined up when viewing the email, when printed it’s all over the place, then vise versa. Does anyone know how I can get this to be aligned when either viewing from the client or printing it out? I’m stuck…

The spaces between the : and “+…” are all different. Maybe there’s another way I can achive this? The remarks field is used in a lot of other code, so I wouldn’t want to remove it from a field if I can help it.

Thanks,

Hayley.

Your normal solution for this would be to add a tab character, which is @Char(9), or maybe two to get the different lengths to line up “naturally”. You would be even better off if you used rich text instead of text and could set your own tab stops, since otherwise you are at the mercy of the tab stops that are there.

Thank you Ben, that worked fine using @Char(9).
