Problem with replying to notes cc address

Hi,(recently we’ve installed a notesmail server)

Now I’ve a little problem.

When a notes users creates a new memo

to: rudy@msn.com (external address)

cc: Rudy_Nelissen/cordstrap (notes users)

This message will arrive on both systems

But when now rudy@msn.com says ‘reply all’

the cc field of the new message will be:

cc: Rudy_Nelissen/cordstrap%CORDSTRAP@cordstrap.net

This message will not arrive to the cc field.

What should be done when the first message leaves the domino domain is adding the internet address of Rudy_Nelissen/cordstrap to the e-mail instead of the notes address.

How can I solve this??

Subject: Problem with replying to notes cc address

We just went through the same problem and it seems there’s a character limit problem in the domain name. We shortened our Notes domain to 3 characters and the problem went away. I didn’t test extensively but I’m thinking the limit is probably 8. Hope this helps all who are having this problem.
