Problem with install Domino 6.0.1 on Solaris

Hi all.I was tried to install Domino R6.0.1 on Solaris and I had the following error.

"An unexpected error occured during post-install processing:

Died at (eval 33) line 35.

/export/home4/group/sysadm/Domino/sol/tools/lib/NIC.pm line 963

The installation failed for the local host."

I’ve installed 108434-03 patch and made

the following changes in the /etc/system file on the Solaris 8.

set rlim_fd_max=32768

set msgsys:msginfo_msgtql=1024 (rquirements for Domino 6.0.1 on Solaris)

Hi all. I’ve the same probleme on a Solaris 2.8 / Netra T1. All parameters seems ok (RAM, Hard Drive and so on…) but i had the following error :

An unexpected error occured during post-install processing :

Died at (eval 34) line 2

…propagated at (eval 33) line 328

/ibm1/upDomino/sol/tools/lib/NIC.pm line 930

The installation failed for the local host

I warned lotus support. I’ve no answer for the moment…

PS: of course i was connected with root account. All parameters (patches and so on) seems to be good…

Hi Adam!

Some configuration settings may cause such behaviour. All my installations were good, but in one environment I’ve experienced the same problem. I made wrong. I was reinstall whole system, after few failed attempts to install 6.0.1. Now I want to make comparison.

I have some ideas about it, and wrote you by e-mail.
