Problem with DECS activity

Hi,

We are using DECS in one application for connecting to a oracle data base.

And we have forms, which are mapped with DECS activities for data transaction. Now documents created with this intermediate forms are available in a view ‘All Documents’.

A particular DECS activity creates documents such that, as soon as we access the view the server crashes. The peculiarity about this DECS activity is data transactions with characters length more than 120. Also this form has a Hidden Formula to calculate title.

Is there a limitation on number of characters in DECS?

or is there any way out to solve this problem? Plz let me know

Subject: Problem with DECS activity

Is it reading or writing to Oracle? If writing, check if Oracle fields are defined to have enough width.In Notes there is no specification of width for text fields. Any text field can be of width upto the max limit - 16K or 32K.
