Problem using spell check from Web mail access iNotes 8.5

Hello

We have OS System i English 5.4.

We installed the new Domino Server release 8.5.

After the installation we installed an additional spell-check dictionary using the next information:

How to obtain additional spell-check dictionaries on Domino for i (i5/OS)

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=463&uid=swg21313164

We tried to use this dictionary from Web mail access iNotes 8.5.

In every small or big text we write we face the next window:

No spelling errors found.

When we write English text we have the same problem with the initials dictionaries :

uk.dic and us.dic. The message is : No spelling errors found.

Only the wpdic.dic works.

Thanks for your support.

Did you try the troubleshooting steps found at the end of the Technote?

If spell check for International languages does not work, check for the following conditions:

Ensure you have the appropriate language dictionaries in either the product directory (with a SYMBOLIC link in your server’s data directory for dictionaries installed by Domino) or each server’s data directory (for dictionaries installed manually).

Check your International User Preferences (choose File → Preferences → User Preferences → International) to ensure you are using the correct international spelling dictionary.

Followed by a table mapping the language to a dictionary file.

Hello.

Yes we tried the two conditions.

About the first condition we copied the appropriate language dictionaries in each server’s data directory

/QIBM/ProdData/LOTUS/domino850/data/

/QIBM/ProdData/LOTUS/NOTES/data/

but the difference is that the coded character set ID of the appropriate language dictionaries is 1253

and the coded character set ID of the system language dictionaries (uk.dic, us.dic and wpdic.dic) is 819

We checked the coded character set ID using IBM iSeries Navigator Access for Windows.

About the second condition International User Preferences (choose File → Preferences → User Preferences → International) is about the Notes Client.

But we have problem to use this dictionary only from Web mail access iNotes 8.5. In iNotes we have checked preferences → Basics → Spell Check Default Dictionary

We followed by a table mapping with the language of the dictionary file.

Any new idea is valuable for us.
