Hi,This is the situation, i have two users registred on two different servers with internet certificate merged in their IDs.
When I try to send crypted mail from one user to the other I have the message saying that the recipient dose not have a valid internet certificate or the internet certificate can not be found.
I tried to add the recipient in the local adress book with it’s certificate … but I have the same problem
Any help would be appreciated .

Subject: SOLUTION :Problem using certificate for mail encryption
Hi,I found the solution of my problem .
What i have done is adding the recipient directly in the sender address book and i imported to this new contact his certificate.
What must be done is the following :
-
the recipient must send a signed mail to the sender
-
the sender have to accept the cross certification and add the recipient to his address book (the advanced option include x.509 certificate must be selected )
-
now the sender can encrypt mail with the public key of the recipient
The diffrence between what i had done first and this can be seen in the document properties of the contact and not in the contact properties.
that’s all
