When attempting to open a document in Notes I can open it OK and view it. If I open it through the web, I get “Document of View not available” displayed on the console. Any ideas what might be causing this problem?
THanks,
Gil

Maybe your view has the setting that only permits it to be viewed on client NOT web. Another possibility is that the form you are using to display the document can only be used on the client and not the web. Check the Show/hide settings in the dialog box of the view properties and also the form properties.

The errot that I get is the following:[0BEC:002D-1020] 03/20/2007 09:03:16 AM HTTP Web Server: Lotus Notes Exception - A view of that name cannot be found in the specified database [/Development/20070312UCTAS.NSF/1bfc737500692eb685256d880064b69e/ccb85f0107dad4ee8625729c004e3e64?OpenDocument]
… No idea why!
Subject: Make sure your views can be seen on the web/client
Check the view properties to make sure the one in question isn’t being hidden from the web. If your form any lookups make sure the views being used can be seen on the Notes client and Web as appropriate.
