Printing problem with Windows XP

Hi All

Has anyone encountered any problem in printing from Notes to Windows XP?

One of our clients has an old (really old!?!) Notes application (Notes 4.6) on Windows 98 platform. There is no problem in printing to their (Kyocera) printers.

But when the platform is changed to Windows XP, the priting is not so good. Typical

problems would be missing characters or incorrectly positioned paragraphs.

Can anyone suggest what could be wrong.

You could try a different printer driver and see whether that makes any difference.

As Paul mentioned : download the latest Kyocera printer drivers for Windows XP. Ik had recently an identical problem with a Kyocera FS-1000 printer and it was solved this way.

We had problems with Xp and Notes 5.0.10-5.0.11 and 5.0.12

Some problems were solved with a notes.ini parameter : UseAbsoluteRightMargin=2

and with a lower printer resolution (600x600 instaed of 1200x1200) on a PCL 6 Printer driver.
