Hi all.
I have several developpers here who keep changing IDs, so that they can identify as regular users and see what happens.
Is there some notes.ini setting or something that could prevent their clients from updating the impersonated user’s entry (client build, machine name and so on) in the NAB?
Fortunately, it’s only adding to the lists of machines/versions used, and I could write an agent that removes their machine from ClntMachine and the corresponding entries in ClntBld, ClntDate, ClntDgst and ClntPltrm (silly field names).
But I’d like to avoid all this burden if possible.
TIA,
Nicolas.

Option:1. Test everything local
- Create one or two test id’s with the same setup as the regular users.

Yes, that’s what we’d do in an ideal pinky world.

Just in case someone cares, I ended up creating a new view in my NAB for this, sorted on user name and “machine” name, with “Show multiple values as separate entries” set in all columns but user name.
This was really tricky, as it involves smart use of @Trim and @Replace to filter out unwanted entries in every column separately while still maintaining coherency between them.
If someone is interested I’ll try to provide some details.
