I'm trying to download a user ID file during the post-installation setup for the Notes client, but for some reason, I'm getting an error message of "Notes could not find your ID file on the server". I'm manually verified the ID file is in the ID vault. I'm typing the user name exactly as it appears on their Person document and in the ID fault, and the other variations (for the User name and Short name) that are listed in the Person document. I don't think it would be an issue, but the Notes client is 11.0.1FP3 and the Domino server is 9.0.1FP10. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this issue?
It happens to me when user id uploaded in Vault the first time is "Notes Shared Login" enabled: if it so, ID Vault document is without some fields which are necessary in order to download id from vault.
You can solve resetting ID Vault password.
