Just started playing around with rooms in Calendar Entry and I’ve noticed that if adding the room directly into the where tab it is possible to book the same room twice.
If using Find Room option the system shows the available rooms but this intelligence isn’t available in the Where Rooms field ?
Is this just a feature of the client version we are using or the domino server and can we do anything about this ?

If you put a room name directly into the rooms field, no checking is done until you save and send the invitations.
You should then get an email telling you that the room is already booked.
Do you get an acceptance message from the room after you save & send invitations, when the room is already booked? If so, then there is a problem with your reservations database. This should not happen.

Thanks for the feedback. Something obviously wrong with my system setup here.
I do NOT get an email telling me that the room is already booked.
I do NOT get any acceptance messages from the room or rejection messages from the room whatsoever.
Another complication here is that our server is run from Germany by parent company. Anyway I’ve managed to look at the reservations db and I can see where the room is reserved at that time but I cannot see anything in the approval or declined fields.
How do I set up a room for approving or declining meetings ?

What version of the reservation db are you running?
Is the db clustered?

The ODS version of the db is 43 and the db is not clustered.
In respect of your earlier post unfortunately I do not have admin right ot the server which is run by our German parent company. I do have access to the console but would be slightly hesistant about doing too much here.
