I have a very peculiar problem. I have a Domino 6.5.3 server configured to allow people to POP their mail to a client (Outlook).
The Domino server is configured to handle mail for several external domains (bungins.com, joeblow.com, etc) The primary domain (bungins.com) is listed as the Local Primary Internet Domain while others (joeblow.com) are listed in Alternate Internet Domain Aliases under the Conversions Tab of the Domain Document.
Now, a user with an address in two domains (jack@bungins.com or jack@joeblow.com) receives email correctly when sent from anywhere to either address. That is to say, the mail shows up alright in his mailfile. However, when the user POPs the mail, some messages from external domains (not handled by our Domino server) addressed to him at the non-primary (non-global) domain on our Domino server does not appear when POP’d.
Using the above example, if I sent a message to jack@bungins.com via Yahoo he’d get it in his mailfile and be able to POP it to another client. If I sent a message to jack@joeblow.com he’d get it in his mailfile but NOT be able to receive it in his POP client.
Any ideas?
