Picture-Hotspot doesn't work in recipient's inbox

There was an email sent to a group within our company that contains picture-hotspot. Clicking the hotspot should open a webpage in IE which it does for everyone in that group except for one user.

After some investigation on the users’ inbox, we realized that the hotspot ( & hence the url) is missing. Only plain picture is displayed.

We’ve no idea how the hotspot and the url gets lost.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

kathir.

check the user’s person doc and see if “Format for incoming mail” field differs from the others.

Paul,

Here’s what I see in his person doc:-

“Format preference for incoming mail: Prefers MIME”

For all other users it’s “No Preference”.

I will make it “no preference” and see what happens.
