I have followed the tech. note instructions on how to add a field in the Domino Directory to add a photo for displaying in Sametime and have made the changes on the Sametime server configurations. I have restarted the Sametime server but I still cannot display photos. The field is a rich text field and is mapped on Sametime. I am using the Limited Use Sametime is that an issue with Displaying photos? Is there something I am missing.

Check this:
If there is a UserID stored as a file in the person doc, it will prevent the display of a the photo.
Also it might be useful to use the new rich text field property Thumbnail.

Sametime should be configured to use LDAP and you should add the Photo as jpegPhoto;Binary

Do do not forget step 13 and 14.
- Browse to UserInfoConfig.xml file within Domino Install folder. Under section, check to make sure Photo field is set to “jpegPhoto;binary”
The entitlement seems fine to show businesscard, so I expect the Photo is part of the businesscard
