Personal folders been deleted after replace mail database design is applied

Hi, I have design a new mail database template in oder to have some special fields in my Lotus Notes mail database look and feel. This database is base on default R6.5.2 mail database. After I applied the replace design, some of my personal created folders are being deleted! I notice that the folder flag “Prohibit Design Refresh” is not set. It may cause my folder being removed. May I know is it anyway which the replace design can just ignore all personal folders (without remove them silently)? Why Lotus Notes just delete folders without getting the confirmation from user?

Why Lotus Notes just delete folders without getting the confirmation from user?

Users shouldn’t be given the ability to perform this operation. Just Admins and Designers, who are assumed to know that replacing a design replaces all elements of the design, unless they’re marked “do not replace”.
