I have searched the forum, and couldn’t find anything on this, so apologies if this is a duplicate problem.
I have noticed an issue with the email address in the PAB.
IF you create a new record, and enter just a name and postal address, notes will let you SAVE the record without an email address. However…
IF you have a contact record which has been saved already and includes an email address, and you REMOVE the email address, and re-save the record, then notes REINSERTS the address you removed.
This came to light because one of my users contacts changed jobs. In the interim period where we did not know the correct email address, we tried to save the record without the old address in it, and realised you can’t.
I tried using pretty much every mail type in there (record had been created with internet mail as the mail type).
Does anyone know why notes is doing this?
Does anyone know of a way to remove an email address from a record where the document has previously been saved with an email address included?
