Persistent Chat Policy

We just upgraded to Notes 14.5.1 and Sametime 12. I love the Bubbles option in chats, but do not like the fact that I do not appear to have control over saving chats across sessions. I have no interest in maintaining a history of chats and don’t want to clutter my window with old chats.

In my Sametime Preferences, I have not checked the option to “Save open chats across sessions”.

I’ve been told that there a "persistent chat policy " setting on the server, which is controlling this, and that the setting cannot be changed.

Any ideas are appreciated.
