Using Connections 8 cr5, Websphere 8.5.5.24, Oracle Enterprise Linux 7, we came across a problem, that if you search for people, the profile picture in the search results is not shown. Only the default profile icon from connections. In profiles, mail notifications or vcard the profile picture is shown as usual.
Did anyone have the same problem?

did you already try to debug the problem in more detail? Do you see any error-messages in the SystemOut.log when it will be tried to load the image? If so, which error? You may also want to enable some more detailed traces to check it in detail. For that you can refer to the following technote to enable the traces:

Would be good, if you can provide some more information about the error symptoms. If you stuck with the problem determination, feel free to open an HCL case to check it in detail.

As this is reproducible in preview, it is way easier to let support grab the logs/traces they need instead of sending a ton of useless logs.

yes, we tried to find the root cause and did not find any useful log entry yet. We will open a CASE for that.

Petr when you have opened a case, please send me the number, so I can create one too and connect them.
But could also be a feature:
It looks like the search view shows the default icon of the application and not the profile / community image.

yes, it looks like a bug, we have the same issue on 3 instances and on an older Release v8.0.0.0 Build IC8.0_CR2_Integration_20230416-1915 we can see the pictures as expected.
however, since at least CR5 we only see this
even the quick results deliver a picture:
I will open a CASE for that and let you know.
