Hi all,We are making a search in LotusScript code. The formula query we build contains a string with parenthesis, e.g.: “Mr John (Johnny) Alan”.
The code is as follows:
‘’‘’‘‘Start of Code’’‘’‘’‘’’
dim query as string
dim db as new notesdatase(“mySever”, “myDb”)
dim col as notesdocumentcollection
query = “Mr John (Johnny) Alan”
set col=db.ftsearch(query, 0)
‘’‘’‘’‘End od Code’‘’‘’‘’’
The problem is we get error when we call “search” method, and it seems that it’s because the parenthesis (other query strings which don’t contain parenthesis work well).
Has anyone know how to tackle this problem ?
How can we add parenthesis in query string of formula?
