Has anyone heard any rumblings about Palm Pre support in 8.5.1 Travler? Or through any other means?

The Pre is not officially supported in 8.5.1 but I have been testing my device against Traveler via Activesync on the Lotus Greenhouse (I’m not part of the managed beta) and mail, contacts and calendar work just as you would expect them to. Traveler via Activesync does not currently sync tasks or journal/notebook the iPhone doesn’t support it.
Also, I have not tried a remote wipe but I would expect it to work just as it does when connected to Exchange/ActiveSync in that it wipes the messaging info but not the entire device (as opposed to an iPhone which will get completely zapped).
I’m looking forward to the exact minute I am no longer forced to have a bunch of devices connect via Domino’s brain-dead IMAP implementation and retire the kluge that is CompanionLink for sync’ing contacts and calendar items.

Thanks, Gregg. I’ve also cobbled together Companion Link/IMAP/SMTP to get this working and it isn’t pretty. Good to know that we have this to look forward to in 8.5.1

… Sorry to drag up an old thread, but I’m using Domino/Sametime 8.5.1 with Traveler ↔ iPhone and this is working great.
However as noted, it wont sync the “Notes”. This is a documented issue with iPhones, but we just picked up some iPhone 4’s which will sync notes via IMAP.
Has anyone tried this yet ?
It sounds a bit clunky but might be worth setting up if it works ok and operates with the active-sync/traveler setup.
