I have set up a database that uses an emmbeded outline, and have Web Access = “using Java Applet” set.
This works most of the time, but occassionally the “applet not initited” message appears.
The java console starts:-
java.security.PrivilegedActionException: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect
It appears that the applet server is not responding correctly.

The problem arises when the Internet Explorer option
“Use Java v2 1.4… for ”
is enabled
Any idea how to get around this problem?
We need the Sun Java option to be enabled for other browser-based applications?
