Outgoing email format not correct

When emails are sent outside the network(especially exchange users), formatting is lost and the mail looks very weird.If on the other side its a notes server then the formatting remains okay, but if its an exchange server all formatting is lost.

Is there any way to preserve the formatting?

Is there any setting to be done on server?

Subject: Outgoing email format not correct

Check the MIME settings in the Person document of the user.

Also, it could be a setting on the Exchange server but it seems a problem with the MIME formatting.

Thanks for help. Should mime seeting be mime format or notes rich text format? I need to have solution for all recipients outside notes .

Do you mean mime setting does not work with exchange users, if yes I wonder how can lotus Notes have such a big limitation?
