Out of Office - Welcome back message states ZERO notified

I have a user that said his OOO was enabled properly. He just got back in the office this morning and states that the OOO “Welcome Back” email states that the OOO notified Zero people. I went into his mailbox and it is clear that there are emails that have been received during his week off.

—Is there a user log file to track this?

—Does the OOO only work with users of the same domain?

—For clarity, I realize that OOO runs from 4am to 12am…does this mean that no OOO processing between 12:01am and 3:59am? ANd why every 6 hours? Does this mean that it potentially can take up to 6 hours to receive and OOO message?

I am fairly new to Domino/Notes…what is the best way to troubleshoot this?

By default the OOO agent runs every 6 hours, but can be modified if needed.

Thanks for the reply, I have been thru these articles, they are really good bits of info. I have a user that claims his OOO was set but his welcome back page states that it notified “0” people. I can see emails in his DB for the dates he was gone.

It would help if you posted the settings in his Out of Office preferences. It is possible to not send messages to certain people/groups/internet users, etc.
