Hi
I have a user (user1) who tells me he enabled his out of office between 20th to 23Feb. He works on a local replica of his mailbox.
However, no emails were generated to anyone who sent him an email according to message tracking, but he did receive these emails himself…
User1/GB User1/GB@GB 03/03/2009 13:02:05 Welcome Back!
User1/GB User1/GB@GB 03/03/2009 13:02:10 Reminder Please Turn Off your Out Of Office Agent
Which would indicate he must of repicated to the server and his home server knew he was out of the office.
He has Manger ACL access to his mailbox, the mailbox owner is correct in mailbox, his person record has the correct server name. He is running Notes 6.0.1 software and template on a 7.0.2 server.
Anyone any ideas?
Thanks

The fact that the user received those emails does not prove that the server replica of the mailfile has the ooo-agent active. Have a look on the server version of the mailfile. Or it could be that the user may not run any scheduled agents on the server.

Thanks but as it is a number of days ago now and the out of office is disabed, I cant find anything in the server log files to say what happened?

Something really basic to check:
In the past I’ve enabled the Out of Office on the “wrong server” which means it doesn’t do anything. You could try testing the OOO by re-enabling and see what server it was set to run on.

I will get him to test it again, but I have checked both location and person record and both point to the correct server.

If you don’t want to ask the user / turn it back on… If you have access look at the design: examine the out of office agent to see what server it was schedule on.
