I loaded the OS X 10.6.3 update 2 nights ago when it was released.
I’m running Lotus Notes Standard 8.5.1 FP2.
Upon loading 10.6.3 Lotus Notes is now EXTREMELY slow. I get the thinking cursor all the time (not the beach ball but the black and white circle). I opened Activity Monitor and I’m watching Lotus Notes eat up over 130% of CPU time. Not sure how that’s possible.
I’m running a MacBook Pro (unibody 17") with 8gb RAM.
Subject: Same problem
I’m on latest 10.6 with Notes 8.5.2 and it’s brutal slow. I get hour glasses all the time. Is there any way to change heap in case it’s GC or something? It wasn’t this bad previously. I’m within IBM also if someone from Lotus wants to take a closer look.
Subject: Have you tried verifying the disk and repairing disk permissions?
Could be something there, particularly permissions issues. Worth a try.
Subject: I do not notice there is significant difference after upgrading Mac OSX 10.6.3
The Lotus Notes client is more or less the same as before.
I am running Mac OSX 10.6.3 and Notes Standard 8.5.1 FP1
