OS AntiVirus scanning file exceptions on a Domino Server

Hello everybody,

I have a windows Enterprise Server 2003, SP1 which has Lotus Domino Server 7.0.2 installed on this. This has been secured with Symantec Mail Security 5.1 for Domino Server and Symantec Antivirus ver 10.1.5 installed on the OS.

  1. I would like to know what all files have to be excluded from the virus scanning on the OS Side. Any particular Directories or dll’s that need to be excluded.

  2. Apart from the open files like names.nsf, mail.box, are there any other particular files to be excluded from the domino end.

Could somebody provide their expertise on this.
