We have completed a very large corporate upgrade from R5 to R6 servers and have started to rollout R6 clients.
One of the really great features of R6 is the Policies. In our test lab we created an explicit Policy with Desktop and Security Settings and the policy works fine. As soon as we change the Policy type to Organizational the policy does not work - the only settings we are testing are Desktop and Security - even simple policy settings such as textured Desktop doesn’t work.
Our Domain Name is lets say ABC so we have created a Organizational Policy called */ABC and when we run the policy synopsis against a user we can see that the organizational policy set for this user however the settings don’t activate when the user authenticates with his mail server.
Anyone any thoughts on this issue ?
