Order to search directory

Hi all,

This is just a quick question.

I have 3 contact address books, one for global users, one for singapore users and one for my own contacts.

I want to set the order for the system to search the Singapore contacts first, then personal and followed by the global addresses.

(search in the context when a name is being typed into the TO: CC: BCC:)

Where can i do the settings on my lotus note client or is this setting only possible on our domino server?

Hi!

Exactly this search order is not possible.

You may set a search order for server based directories with directory assistence and you may set a search order at the locations document of your client (only local, local then server or server then local) - but not exactly the directory.

For client configurations see also the notes.ini variable NAMES and the condensed Directory Catalog.
