hello there…in my .nsf application an agent detaches a .ODS file, modify and saves it as attachment in a new doc.
It works. Great .
Doing this operation, the OpenOffice environment appears.
My question:
is possible to hide OpenOffice environment, so that the file is modified and saved without the user see it?
I tried with
Set objDocument = objDesktop.loadComponentFromURL( filepath, “_hidden” , 0, args)
but it doesn’t work.
the lines:
Set oSheet = objDocument.Sheets.getByName(“Sheet1”)
oSheet.IsVisible = False
will hide the sheet, but OpenOffice is visible.
Any ideas?
Tks

Yannick, I don’t know what you mean.
Anyway,
at last I found the code.
Here it is.
Dim args(1) As Variant
Dim args1 As Variant
Dim args2 As Variant
Set args1= objServiceManager.Bridge_GetStruct(“com.sun.star.beans.PropertyValue”)
Set args2= objServiceManager.Bridge_GetStruct(“com.sun.star.beans.PropertyValue”)
args1.Name = “AsTemplate”
args1.Value = False
args2.Name = “Hidden”
args2.Value = True
Set args(0)=args1
Set args(1) = args2
filepath = “file:///C:/MyFilename.ods”
Set objDocument = objDesktop.loadComponentFromURL(filepath, “_blank”, 0, args)

Hello
What I mean is that your question is absolutely not related to Notes/Domino.
It is VB and OOo classes question.
