Is it possible accessing more than two different email accounts on a single instance of HCL Notes 14. i have a user requesting to access 3 different email accounts on one instance of HCL Notes 14
Yes you can using switch ID. the user wanting to do this should have physical ID files on his machine. Simply switch ID and and you are the new person. You can open the mail of the ID you have switched to using open->open an application->Server->mail dircetory->requisite mail file.
The actual implementation would depend upon your configuration and policies
Hello,
You can specify a different User ID file that HCL Notes® should use for a location. For example, if you sometimes travel to a different office with Notes on a laptop that you connect to the LAN there, create a Location document that switches to an ID authorized for servers at that office.
You can refer to the below documentation link.

I hope this is helpful to you. If this answer is helpful to you then please accept the answer. It will benefit others having same query.
Thank you,

You can install Notes as a multi-user installation, OR you may use 3 different location documents created on a single-user installation of the Notes client to point to the respective ID file of the user.

Hello @Ian Rotich Yes you can access all three email accounts by creating separate location documents where the user has to switch to his location document and enter the credentials of his email account's ID file.
You can create a location document by referring to this video Create Location Document
Note: Every user's details should be correctly applied in every location document. Like ID file, mail file name, home mail server name, internet address etc.
@Ian Rotich
Yes, you can access all three/More email accounts by creating separate location documents. The user will need to switch to the appropriate location document and enter the credentials for the corresponding email account's ID file.
Please ensure that all user details are accurately configured in each location document, including the ID file, mail file name, home mail server name, internet address, and other relevant settings."
However Multiuser installation is a standard practice if in future you are planning some settings through desktop policies.
Pls refer below kbase for the same

Domino policies were designed to be applied per desktop and not per user based on switch ID. Switch ID by itself does not trigger the pulling down of policies. Only if there are changes to the policy after they were initially applied, when the user authenticates with the home server, the policies get pulled down for that user. A multi-user install is recommended if a truly multi-user scenario is needed
Hello Ian
Regarding your requirement, you can achieve your requirement by using following method
Installing Notes client with Multi-user option which the Data folder will be stored in the User account's profile Document.
https://help.hcl-software.com/domino/12.0.2/admin/inst_installingnotesinamultiuserenvironment_c.html
The AlterNet option would be to setup individual Location Document and setup the Location of the ID file of each account in Advanced => Basic tab => "user ID to switch to" option in the respective location Document.
With this when user select respective location Document, the ID file of the respective user will be selected and prompted for password.
I hope the above information will help in answering your concerns.
Thanks & Regards
