Title: Open Mic call: BlackBerry Enterprise Server for Domino and the RIM BlackBerry client - 12 January 2011
(where the emails are routed between the local domains through the global domain)
the users having the messaging server in the global domain can receive and reply/forward the Lotus Notes encrypted emails
but users having the messaging server in the local domains can receive but cannot reply/forward the Lotus Notes encrypted emails (even to the users in their own domino domain)
The local domain is having NAB with local users and there exist the directory assistance which is used while routing the emails to the other domains.
We often find that random users end up with state database corruptions in the form of the ‘User Info’ document being deleted by a Fixup or Compact, or there may be some oter form of corruption.
Is there some way of nicely recreating these important ‘User Info’ documents without recreating the user profile and reactivating the user?
Will Domino transaction logging help prevent this?
Subject: Meeting invites do not disappear from handset
When I accept or decline a meeting invitation from within the Lotus Notes client and have it automatically hide from the Inbox, it still remains visible on the handset.
Is there some way of making the handset observe the Inbox change?
Subject: mails bouncing randomly when sent from BlackBerry
Hi,
When a BB user sends a mail from the device, it is not getting delivered. This is not happening regularly but many times mails are not delivered.
Our mail id(Notes) looks like this :
FirstName LastName/Acme
But the delivery failure message says that the mail can not be delivered to FirstName_LastName/Acme
an extra underscore character is added between FirstName and LastName. Now this happens everytime a mail is address to a group - underscore is added to all the IDs of the expanded groups. How do I troubleshoot/fix this?
