I have a challange:
From a windows applikasjon, I want to open a spesific document (contact) in an notesdatabase (with eq. customer number or phonenumber as key).
How can I do this? Is it possible to start an agent in the notes client fram a bat-file? Or Java?
Subject: Open document from bat-file?
All you need to do it a command line like:start notes://servername!!directory/database.nsf/viewunid/documentunid

Thanks!I’ve tride the following command:
start notes://server/folder/view/docid?open
But this only opens the database, and not the doc itself?

You need to specify view universal id and document universal id. The notes protocol does not support the URL style named elements yet.

Is there another way?
Also tried to run an agent insted as test, but it didn’t run.
The problem is that I only know the incomming phone number (who’s calling), and based on that number, I want to find the corresponding contact card in the DB.

You can use the nhttp.exe task to run agents, or make the Notes Form launch an agent.
If you want to try the nhttp.exe way, you need a command line like:
start http://servername!!directory/database.nsf/agentname?openagent
But this also means that you need to have the nhttp.exe task running.
You can also run runagent.exe from the command line to run an agent, but I don’t have currently a trial version of that for download.
