Is there an easy way to open a local file on the c: drive using a formula or @ command?

Clicking on a button should open a local spreadsheet file in MS-Excel.

Check the following formula in the Notes Designer Help database. It will open a file dialog box so you can select the file to open:

@Prompt([LOCALBROWSE]
