Open a Document on Database - it looks to not active Server

Hello,

i have a problem with one of my notes clients.

The user wants to open a database on the server.

This database is developt by ourself. With LS, FS and so on.

Now only on this client i have failure… And i have now after i try to resolve no ideas whats the problem is.

The user opened the database… He see some documents in this view… Then he click to a document and the notes client show a message in the bottom left: Request for Server …

But this server is not active here… And this database which the user wants to open isn’t available on this Server, which is requested for.

After this the database opens normaly… The user can open all doucments without this problem.

If the user close the database and reopened it, we have the same problem again.

I looked into the open process in Script debugger but its look like that in the database code is no error…

And there is no error… I am sure that must be a problem of the client but where.

I’ve deleted the cache.ndk, used a new profile (rename the data folder), checked the locations… There is allright.

What can it be?

Not sure if this is the issue, but we sometimes see issues with clients trying to access a retired server.

Is there any chance that the user’s ID file was created on a server that no longer exists? If so, you can re-create the id file on one of your current servers.

Hi thanks for your answer…This isn’t possible because this Server was only a replication Server on another country…

This server get a replication of different databases and users and so on… And to this server request the notes client.

But i have no idea what it is…

The database on which we have this problem wasn’t available on this server
