A Crispy Problem:
We have a database with around 200 Main documents.
Each main doucment may have upto 3 to 7 followup documents created by users depending on the content of the main document.
Once in 2 or 3 or 6 months, randomly, only one main document disappears. I got to go thru a recovery procedure and copy the missing document from the recovery database into the main database.
Only managers(ACL group) who has a particular Role can delete documents. If deleted they get a message and the deleted documents along with followup documents get archived but not completely removed. The archived docs will be removed by an agent after three months of stay in the same database.
Whenever there is a delete action by user or agent, it will be logged.
There are no Readers and Authors fields used.
Only Main document disappears. There is nothing written in the log. The followup documents for that main document keep remain in the database as actual documents (Not like archived).
For information, the Main document’s form’s property “Conflicts Handling” has “Merge Conflicts” selected.
Does anyone has any clue why only one document will disappear and what might be the possiblity in this scenario.
