One room in the Resource Reservation DB show no info

Hello,

I have 1 room in our Resource Reservations DB that shows no info when trying to find an available time for the room. When I have the RnR db open and find a time for a specific room and select the room, I get a message at the bottom of my Lotus Notes that says “No Scheduling information for the request invitees could be found at this time”. I haven’t looked at all the rooms we have, but looked at 5 different room and I get the schedule for them, so it seems to be that one room.

Can anyone give me any hints as to what to look for, or what the problem may be.

could be a corrupt entry in the busytime database. Try deleting the busytime db then let Domino rebuild it. Steps to the best of my knowledge:

tell calcon q

tell sched q

delete busytime.nsf (or clubusy.nsf if on cluster)

load sched

load calcon

this was for R6 and before. DOn’t use ND7 yet so not sure if there are any new steps that might be needed.

You can also try deleting just the entry for the specific room you’re having trouble with. to do this, open busytime.nsf (or clubusy.nsf) and find the room in the view then delete the entry. Now issue your “tell sched validate” at the console.

Thanks Paul. I investigated a little further by looking in the busytime.nsf. There wasn’t an entry in there for the said room. Do you know if running the command “tell sched validate” recreate the entry, or is it best to delete busytime.nsf and let it rebuild?

how/when was the room created? go to the room document in the R&R database. check the doc properties and make sure there is a $BusyName field and that the correct room name is there. Next, open the room document and Edit it then resave it. Now go to your server console and issue the tell sched validate command. an entry for the room should definatley show up in the busytime db. Can you see entries in the busytime db for your other rooms?

I have found out the problem. It seems that somehow, the mail-in database was gone. I re-created the mail-in database and then ran the Tell Sched validate command. This morning I checked it out and everything is running fine again.
