We are getting the “One or more of the source document’s attachment are missing. Run Fixup to delete in the source database” when creating a new copy of a database
Not all users get this message and on one of the databases, there are no attachments!!!
I assume that Notes is actually referring to a design element rather than an attachment.
How can I see which design element it is tripping up on??
Many thanks
Mike
Subject: One or more of the source document’s attachment are missing…
I recently ran into a similar problem and discovered that it had to do with embedded objects. The embedded objects that were giving me the most grief were .pdf objects.
For me, I was running an agent that searched each DB for documents with $File. Once I got that collection, I examined each document and looped through the doc.items. If an item.name = “$File”, then I checked whether item.values(0) was empty – if so, the object is an embedded object.
Obviously, you could take different approaches to this. My purpose was to find and detach file attachments, so I did not explicitly look for embedded objects.
