both of them have been working for weeks.the 2 clustered mail servers and the IM server share an LTPA key.
All servers reboot every week and restarting the http task does not solve the issue.
I added anyway http_pwd_change_cache_hours=1 in notes.ini
I could not find a persistent cache on the Domino servers and it is not about browser cookies or temp files. I can reproduce the problem on any workstation I never used before.
It could come from our environment.
We use an ISA server as a proxy. How could Domino accept from ISA obsolete cached passawords?
when i change a password via DWA, the adminp request takes only a few seconds to change the password on the administration server.Otherwise all adminp settings are set to default, no notes.ini entries.
thank you; this command is very cool to get the new password work right away; but the old one still works as well. The ISA admin just came back from holiday. I am going to check with him and post the findings if any.
I already used this setting but it does not do any good, and I am not even sure that it works as designed; anyway both passwords have been working for weeks. I believe it’s a matter of cookies since we use an LTPA token to authenticate on multiple servers. According to IBM, the cookies do not contain any password…
Sorry, I forgot to mention that it is fixed:The old password was found in the Extended Directory (dircat), that was not updated with the new password (replication problem).
