we will login to Nomad web with Office 365 (Azure) and NOMAD Web, we cant find and documentation to do it with domino 14.5.1.

Is your requirement is related to Domino with OIDC?

  1. Nomad Web 14.5.1 supports OpenID Connect (OIDC).
  2. Microsoft 365 / Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID) is an OIDC Identity Provider.

Unfortunately, this documentation has nothing to do with O365 Azure and Nomad, nor with Domino 14.5.x, and is not useful!!!

I believe the relevant solution here is Nomad Federated Login, rather than OIDC authentication alone.

If the requirement is to use Microsoft Entra ID / Microsoft 365 for authentication and avoid asking users for their Notes ID password, the setup should use SAML authentication for Nomad Server together with Nomad Federated Login.

And HCL also has a dedicated troubleshooting guide:

The important distinction is that SAML authenticates the user against the identity provider (e.g. Microsoft Entra ID), while Federated Login takes care of obtaining the user’s Notes ID from the ID Vault. This is what allows the user to access Nomad without having to enter their Notes ID password.

So I would not look at OIDC authentication alone for this particular requirement. The combination of Entra ID → SAML → Nomad + Nomad Federated Login is the more relevant approach.
