I have following problem with notes client working remotelly, all databases including mailfile have local replicas if vpn connection is established prior to opening notes client and notes client is open then all works fine user can replicate all databases, if notes client is open while vpn is disconnected and vpn connection is established while notes client is already opened on workstation user cannot replicate, he/she gets message server not responding, all other local application that require vpn cnnection works fine regardless if these are open before or after vpn connection is established, this is not a dns issue as all names can be reolved at any given time, sounds like notes client is caching fact that there is not direct server connection at the time when is being opened and does not release these information… these behaviour is not a single instance it applies to all remote notes clients as these are being configured exactly same way… any idea?
