Lotus EasySync 4.3 is described as DOMINO6 supported.
But there is no chance to sync with any ODS43 Database (Server or Local). You first have to compact your databases to ODS41, shut down the client and it will work.
Is there any other possibility to solve the problem (or a patch …)?
This way ist frustating,
Andreas
Subject: ODS 43 and EasySync 4.2
EasySync 4.2 is working for us with databases (both local and server) with ODS 43 [Clients and servers are 6.0.1CF1 both English & Spanish mixed].
I guess it should work for you also…
Sorry can’t help more, just our experience with it.

I agree with you JR, I’m using 4.2 with a 6.0.2 CF1 client accessing a 6.0.2 CF1 server, no problems.

What is the difference between your installation and mine ?
After upgrading to 6.01 CF1 (German) and converting my MailDB to ODS43 there ist no chance to connect (Error: Cannot open database) the DB. After downgrading to ODS41 EasySync connect my MailDB (but only when the Notes-Client ist closed …).
What´s wrong ?

Subject: ODS 43 and EasySync 4.2 -Solution-
EasySync does not connect the database directly; EasySync uses the nnotes.dll, which is found in the REGISTRY.
If there is a parallel Notes 5 Installation, EasySync uses the Notes5 nnotes.dll. Rename this file, install the EasySync and answer the question for the path to the nnotes.dll correctly (the Notes 6 programm directory).
That´s it.
