Odd occurance with multiple users

The problem occurred when I tried to allow a second user to use Lotus Domino on a computer not usually used by the person.

let’s start at the beginning;

I’ve installed the lotus client on a computer for user A. everything works perfectly and while installing it I made sure to choose the setup for multiple users.

A new person, let’s call them B wants to work on that computer. he’s using the same windows login as user A.

I searched for and found the .id file for user B and linked it to the domino client.

When trying to login as user B it goes fine up to a point, that is it does ask me for the password of user B, and I do get to see the main menu, however when I try and enter the mailbox it gives me the error that I don’t have permission to enter that.

No additional prompting for a password occurs, and I’m using client version 6.

I’m afraid I’m at a loss here. if anyone could offer a small bit of assistance I’d be much obliged.

Each user will need to use their own location document. It contains all of the relevant settings (where their mail database lives, etc.). You will find the appropriate setting in the Notes client preferences.

Also, make sure the Access Control List of the Personal Address Book (names.nsf) is set to allow access to both users.
