Nsl.exe - Application Error

I am getting an error during Windows start up.

nsl.exe - Application Error

The instruction at “0x0040125c” referenced memory at “0x00000000”. The memory could not be “written”.

I’m not sure what I need to do to get rid of this??

I do get 2 options:

Click OK to terminate the program

Click CANCEL to debug the program

Subject: Try disabling Client Single Logon feature

nsl.exe is part of the Notes single-signon services. Go into Add/Remove programs, find Lotus Notes and click “Change” and deselect this service.

Can you verify that the following registry value does not have duplicate ‘npnotes’ in it:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\NetworkProvider\Order

DSCK5PJTRY: Single logon services crashed with duplicate npnotes registry

I just LOVE the LDD to death! This was my problem too. I was having a problem with Single Signon (SS0) so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. So, this is no doubt how I got the duplicate entry, which killed nsl.exe. However, having fixed it SSO still doesn’t work, even though the service is running. Any ideas?
