NSFItemAppend : Importing Images to RTF in Backend

Bringing this up from the dead…http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/46dom.nsf/ShowMyTopicsAllFlatweb/564e5f7e34eb52e880256cec0064759f?OpenDocument

Excellent code!!

I’m using this on a R7 server and I get a transparent image for small (10kb) .jpg files.

I have a simple piece of code that gets thumb files from the harddrive and places them on separate Notes documents. Each document is NOT saved it is SENT to a mail-in db and then processed from there. Not sure if this means anything from an API perspective.

Don’t have a clue about API stuff. Really need to learn someday (ordering and reading Normunds book). I did look at NotesPeek and found that the way I imported them before it has:

Pab Definition 2

Pab Reference 2

ab “”

Graphic

Image Header

Image Segment

ab “”

Using the api code it looks like:

Begin - Graphic

Graphic

Image Header

Image Segment

End - Graphic

Does this help any??

The C API User Guide has a rich text IMPORTER code snippet…is this somehow different than this api code or is it basically the same thing done a different way?

Thanks for any help in this matter…it sure would be nice to do this in the backend instead of the ui flashy-flash…
