I know that .nsf is a database file in lotus notes which would contain the mails.
I would like to know whether .nfs is also pointing to the same file ? or is it different one. If so, please help me by giving some infomation about this format.
nfs is sometimes the shortcut for network file system in unix (a way to access directories from a different machine) wich may or may not be the solution to your question
A file with an extension of .nsf is unique of a file with a .nfs extension.
I searched google for “nfs file extension”, but the search results did not provide any great indication as to what vendor utilizes that extension. Unless the extension of a Notes/Domino database (.nsf) was inadvertently modified to .nfs, I recommend reviewing the software in your environment to confirm what may be writing files with an extension of .nfs.
