Notes v6, Easysync pro 4.1 And mail

Hi,

A client of mine have a problem. He has a mail database in notes v6. He has easysync pro 4.1 (which does not support officialy notes v6). He has problem to synchronize his emails with his palm. After the synchronisation, the systems tells 'XX messages deleted by filtering'. And The emails are not copied on the palm.

Does anyone had a problem like this and a solution for it ?

Does the problem come from the 4.1 version of easysync ?

I can’t say for sure, but my guess is that it’s an issue with 4.1. I’m using 4.2 w/an R6 mail file and have no trouble. Perhaps your client will spring for the upgraded software.

Check the mail sync settings. The error that you are getting sounds like he has turned on some sort of filtering wheather that be size or by dates etc… That is where I would start. I have 3 people using the 4.1 easysync software replicating mail without any problems.

I actually already checked his sync settings. He already tried with a limit of 2000 ko in case. We try with and without attachment.

I will check with thdate but …

The weird thing is that it says, there is 18 messages to synchronize and then at the end it says that 18 messages deleted by filtering (i translated there the french message).

I checked with lotus, the 4.1 version is compatible with notes v6.

But I still don’t have any solution …
