I’ve got a user who has an iPad now and I am working with it. I’m really liking the device itself, but do have one issue with it. I’ve got a Traveler server 8.5.1.2 and Mail and Calendar work like a champ. The problem/question I have is with regards to the To Do’s. Is there a way to sync these between Lotus Notes and the iPad? If I have to use iTunes or a third party app, I’m willing to do it. I’ve looked at Notes Pro for Lotus Notes by Robert Mooney, but with the latest release, everything I’ve seen (comments and reviews) says that it is now a piece of garbage software and that there is no support available.
If there is anyone out there with any other suggestions, please feel free to shoot them my way - I’d appreciate any input!!
There is no native app for to-do’s on the iPhone, thus nothing for traveler to sync with. You can use a web-app like ITANA for Lotus Notes: http://www.hughesconnect.com/. It works well for a web app.
Ultimately, I rely so much on my tasks that I went back to Blackberry. For me there was no satisfying solution for the iPhone because of the lack of a native tasks app.
This looks like it could be good for me. It access the Notes To Do’s for the user and doesn’t require any kind of syncing - it is getting it live via the web, right? I’ve shot them an e-mail and if it works like it looks in the video and they have an iPad version, it may be exactly what I want.
ToDo integration in Traveler, for Apple devices, would be a definite bonus, especially for staff who used to have the functionality on the windows mobile device. For now I guess I am stuck referring staff to third party ToDo apps.
I’m the product manager for NotesF1 To Do which does exactly what you’re looking for. Right now we only have support for iOS but very soon there will be an Android app as well.
If I understand it correctly this allows all allows all devices to synchronize data. I would assume therefore there is no need to add (Notes To Do)|(Cikado) but we continue to receive “Synchronization failed. Not Authenticated” errors.
Ther is another webapp avaible that gives You access to all todo’s from iPhoneIt also saves the userdetails localy so You get more feeling of a native app.
